Jahlil Okafor and Jabari Parker Have Not “Really Talked About Playing Together”
Jahlil Okafor and Jabari Parker were once AAU teammates, but will they ever team up again? That remains to be seen, because Parker will only make his decision about his sophomore season of college after this season is over. It appears that though the two talk a lot, that is not a topic that has been broached in serious discussion yet.
“We haven’t really talked about playing together,” Okafor said to SB Nation on Monday. “When we were on Mac Irvin Fire (an AAU team), we might have joked about it, but mostly it was like going to a local school that was not as strong just to shock the world. But that was all jokes and us just having fun.”
The last line of that quote kills me, because absolutely know he is talking about my alma mater. If only they had figured out getting a Chicago area stadium a few years sooner… oh well. Had my own conspiracy theories about what has been said behind closed doors, but that is just the type of paranoid mind that I have. You can check out the full piece below and it is worth checking out.

It should please the Cameron Crazies that the pairing is not out of the realm of possibility yet so be sure to stay tuned. One more Prep piece coming your way tonight, and then be sure to stop by for pro basketball previews as well. Thanks folks.
