Kansas Jayhawks Prospect Myles Turner Waiting To See Whether Joel Embiid Will Make the Jump

Myles Turner is still considering the Kansas Jayhawks, but it will depend on the decision making of one of their current players. Bill Self has apparently told Turner’s family the center would be better served going somewhere the he can get more playing time if Embiid ended up staying.

Much thanks to Adam Zagoria for breaking this, and be sure to follow him on twitter if you are a basketball fan.

The Jayhawks have been building up some momentum in the last month, and it should be fun to see if Embiid and small forward Andrew Wiggins are both clicking on all cylinders when March rolls around. Mr. Bill Simmons had the comment lately on a podcast that he thought Jabari Parker had the ability to blow up in March, and definitely agree with that as well but we will have to wait and see if there is a re-match of the Champions Classis. That would be amazing, and it would probably be the most watched college basketball game in U.S. television history. No, it is not topping the ratings that the Super Bowl got, which were just through the roof. Actually, no. It blew the roof off of the building and then we built a new floor on top of that one.

One more Prep piece coming your way tonight, and then you can also check out some pro basketball previews as well if you are feeling adventurous. Thanks as always, and bundle up if you are in Chi-town because it is not a joke out there.
