SMU Mustangs Commit Emmanuel Mudiay Ranked Second in 24/7 Composite Rankings
Point guard Emmanuel Mudiay got some good news recently when he was bumped up in the 24/7 Sports Rankings, and so now the point guard sits only behind center Jahlil Okafor. Much thanks to Jerry Meyer for the update below, and though he has Mudiay ranked ahead of Okafor, the Whitney Young (IL) center still came out on top in the composite rankings.

You never know if Mudiay will develop a knock down three point shot though, because then it might be up for debate between Okafor and the Prime Prep point guard. The point guard has been seen at many SMU Mustang games this season, and you know that the point guard will make head coach Larry Brown a happy man next season. Brown got the Mustangs got into the top 25 recently for the first time in over two decades, so it is going to be a lot of fun watching what the coach can make happen next season with Mudiay on the floor.
The possibility of adding center Myles Turner to this mix still remains, although that would have to be considered a long shot option at this point if you ask me. In any case, the Mustangs’ program seems to be in a better place than it has ever been and watching their turn in the spotlight will be electric if Mudiay has anything to say about the matter at all when next season comes.
All for Prep today, but will hit you with a bit of fortune cookie wisdom before dropping some previews later on.
