The accolades have only begun to pour out for Stanley Johnson, and it appears he will be in the running for Naismith High School Player of the Year. Much thanks to Ben Roberts for the update on twitter, and we will eventually make a prediction for you here at Rant Sports Prep.
RT @JerryTipton Finalists for Naismith HS Player of Year: Cliff Alexander (Kansas), Stanley Johnson (Arizona), Jahlil Okafor (Duke).

Johnson could help his case immensely with another state title run, but the forward’s resume speak for itself no matter what happens. The Arizona Wildcats are certainly getting another stud, and though they might miss Aaron Gordon’s dunks for all of a few months, the cupboards are certainly not what you would bare in the desert.
Head coach Sean Miller has impressed me with the West Coast recruiting lately, and it seems that he is truly building a program that is destined to last. Even though he is nabbing the one-and-dones, the coach is also getting enough four-year players for there to be an offensive and defensive foundation from year to year. That is a great sign if you are a Wildcats fan, and we will probably see Miller’s coaching ceiling once he gets a chance to set the “Stanimal” loose on the Pac-12.
All for the Prep cookies today, but will leave you a bit of fortune cookie wisdom for any in need.
