Duke Blue Devils commit Jahlil Okafor’s Whitney Young Dolphins recently lost in the CPS title game; their star center could only watch the loss happen from the bench, because he fouled out of the game with a couple minutes left in regulation. The Durham coaching staff had some advise for their future big man as far as social media, and we will have to see if he heeds their words.
“I talked to Coach K, and that was one of the things he said, try to stay away from Twitter,” said Okafor to ESPN. “I didn’t tweet, wasn’t on Instagram. Coach told me that a couple nights ago, just stay focused, but don’t over-focus, just be with family.”

Those two could meet again in the sectionals, and if they do then look for Okafor to play a much more intelligent game. The Dolphins were my pick the first time around, and believe that if Okafor had not fouled out of the game, then the result would have been quite different. Thanks as always for reading, and we have one more Prep piece in the oven for you tonight.
