SMU Mustangs Commit Emmanuel Mudiay's Play Above the Rim Bodes Well for Larry Brown

Point guard Emmanuel Mudiay has not been shy about playing above the rim this season, and this means good things for the SMU Mustangs next season. Mudiay’s hype has been building, and if he can get Prime Prep back to the national championship game then we could be looking at a game changer at the college level.

The tweet below highlighted one of Mudiay’s many alley-oops, and thanks to Steve Jones for sending this one out.

Head coach Larry Brown has got to be watching a lot of these highlights with a devilish grin, and Mudiay’s recent double-clutch three point buzzer beater did not go past the notice of Rant Sports Prep. The point guard said recently that the shot was not possible without God, which gives you a sense of how spiritual Mudiay is.

That is all for the hoss today, but will strap back on the work boots tomorrow and then hit you some more info about the nation’s best young ballers. Thank as always for reading, and here is some fortune cookie wisdom to carry with you out into the night.
