The Nebraska Cornhuskers reeled in two key 2015 verbal commitments this past weekend as twin brothers Khalil and Carlos Davis verbally committed Saturday on their official visit while in Lincoln. Both of the brothers committed to Nebraska over Arizona State, Kansas and Kansas State.

Both of the brothers are listed at 6-foot-2, 260 pounds, and they each play on the defensive line. Carlos Davis is the higher rated prospect as he is a 4-star defensive end that ranks as the 14th best end in the nation and fourth best overall player from the state of Missouri in the class of 2015. He does not have the best frame or ideal height for a defensive end, but he has good speed (4.6 40-yard dash) and power at the point of attack.

Khalil Davis is rated as a 3-star prospect at defensive tackle and is the 25th best in the nation at his position and sixth best overall player in the state of Missouri. He will also need to bulk up to be able to play inside on the defensive line, but he does have excellent quickness and speed as he also runs a 4.6 40-yard dash like his brother, Carlos.

The addition of the Davis brothers now gives the Cornhuskers six verbal commitments for their 2015 class which now ranks 14th in the nation and No. 2 overall in the Big 10. The class has four 4-star commitments and is headlined by 4-star cornerback Eric Lee.
