Jahlil Okafor was probably happy that his old AAU teammate got a win last night, but the Whitney Young center got a bonus as he got to meet Tony Romo. The maligned starting quarterback took in the game along with a number of other celebrities including commissioner Roger Goodell. Much thanks to the ACC Digital Network for tweeting this below, and Okafor even posted a picture of Romo on his twitter account.
Good to see Tony Romo at the Duke game, but much better for Duke fans to see Jahlil Okafor standing next to him.

The game last night never seemed in doubt from my perspective, and there is no doubt that Jabari Parker ended his career at Cameron Indoor Stadium in style. There is a possibility that Parker could return next year, but find it hard to believe he could pass on that kind of money once he fully realizes that he is a top five pick. He is an odd duck though, and there might even be some parental pressure in play to try and keep him in school. One more Prep piece today, and it concerns how Larry Brown’s squad will be even better next season after adding Emmanuel Mudiay into the mix.
As far as Parker’s decision? We’ll just have to see how it all shakes out; my hope is that Parker decides to go on the most highly publicized Mormon mission of all time.
