Emmanuel Mudiay was recently named to the Jordan Brand Classic, and the game should be a great opportunity to prove himself against other elite point guard prospects like Tyus Jones and Joel Berry. The Jordan teams were both announced recently, and the wealth of talent that is going to be on display is truly staggering. Not sure I will be making it out to this game, but I definitely will make it to the McDonald’s All American game. Much thanks to Sports Angle for pointing out the matchups, and you can bet I will be watching when all of these young talents take the court in Brooklyn.
I haven't seen Emmanuel Mudiay play live yet. Looking forward to seeing how he stacks up against Tyus and Berry. #TakeFlightJBCAdvertisement

Mudiay’s athleticism is what strikes the most when you first see him play, but his developing jump shot should is also an encouraging sign for his pro basketball future. SMU Mustang fans are definitely excited, because you cannot get away from it on twitter. His future head coach Larry Brown even said recently that Mudiay could play 82 games a year, and still have plenty in the tank for playoff and exhibition games. The only thing that could derail that at this point would be injury, so we will be sending good thoughts Mudiay’s way here at Rant Sports Prep. That is mainly because we just love basketball here, but I’ll admit to having more affection for certain players after having seem them live.
One more Prep piece is in the oven tonight, and then will also hit you all with a slideshow about the best dunking teams in college basketball. Life is good folks.
