Head Coach Larry Brown Looked Optimistic About SMU Mustangs Future on PTI
Larry Brown appeared recently on Pardon the Interruption, which in my opinion is the best sports talk show on television currently. I like when Brown goes on PTI, because he and Tony Kornheiser have a humorous rapport. Sorry to pull out the SAT words today, but sometimes they are just right to get the job done. Also, enjoyed the tweet below about Brown’s appearance on PTI, and just wanted to highlight it for a moment.
PTI asked Larry brown if he's comfortable recruiting. Keith Frazier & Emmanuel mudiay offered to answer that

The SMU Mustangs have not yet been seeded in the March Madness tournament, but I will be crossing my fingers for them. Brown deserves to coach in the Big Dance again, and if it does not happen this year then next year should be a certainty. The wizened head coach has done a great recruiting job, and we will have to see if he can continue to build on previous success. Mudiay’s commitment signaled a change in the tides for the Mustangs, because they have never landed a blue chipper like the Prime Prep point guard. He is certainly a player who plays with a chip on his shoulder, and Brown should appreciate that type of intensity next season.
You can bet that the Mustangs are my favorite to win the conference next season, and it would not shock me to see them make a run to the Final Four. College basketball is a truly beautiful thing though, and every time March comes it is like the sun is coming out from behind the clouds yet again.
All for Prep today, but be sure to stop by tomorrow and keep an eye out for a pro basketball slideshow tonight.
