The Rainier Beach (Seattle) boys basketball team is ranked No. 3 in the USA TODAY Sports Super 25 rankings, and they will play in the Dick’s Sporting Goods High School National Tournament in April. They have had a fantastic season of basketball, and now we will just have to see if they can cap it off with a national title. They could be one of the best team’s in their state’s history if they can pull this off, and that would truly be an accomplishment. Much thanks to Cam Smith for the tweet below, and if you are in New York then be sure to check out those games.

The quarterfinals and the semifinals are at a different location, but the finals are at Madison Square Garden. That wouldn’t be a bad way for someone’s high school basketball career to end, and will be rooting for it to be as fantastic of a tournament as it was last year. The games are all being aired on the ESPN networks, so be sure to set your DVRs. You can bet that mine is already locked and loaded.

All for today from Rant Sports Prep, but will leave you as always with a little bit of fortune cookie wisdom.
