Arizona Wildcats Commit Stanley Johnson Could Be Named McDonald’s Player of the Year
The McDonald’s All American player of the year should be announced next week, and Arizona Wildcat fans will be pleased to know that one of their future players is definitely in the running. Forward Stanley Johnson helped Mater Dei (CA) to another win recent, which should not come as a surprise to anyone. Much thanks to D1Circuit for tweeting Johnson’s mind-boggling stat line, and they are a must-follow if you are a high school basketball fan.

Sean Miller certainly has to like what he has been hearing about Johnson’s play lately, and it would not surprise me to see the commit at one of their games if he does not have school on one of the days. That would be quite cool, but have not heard a word either way on that.
Wildcat fans already have a lot to cheer about since their squad was just awarded a number one seed in the NCAA tournament, and keep an eye out for Aaron Gordon highlight dunks as we get into the first. March is really a beautiful time of year, don’t you think? Hope you all have your brackets filled out, and if you have any burning questions then feel free to hit me up on twitter. Cannot guarantee a response, but I will try to get back to as many people as possible.
In the meantime, we will be keeping track of Johnson’s quest to put a fourth state title on his resume. Amazing. That is all for Prep today, but stop by tomorrow if the muse strikes you.
