The Kansas Jayhawks got bounced out of the NCAA tournament pretty early, but they definitely have some help on the way. Wayne Selden decided to come back for his sophomore season, but it appears that Joel Embiid will not be. The tweet below pretty much sums up how I feel about the Jayhawks’ chances next sea on, and I always appreciate a good college basketball related tweet.

Cliff Alexander is going to eat the Big Twelve alive next season, and Bill Self is getting what Dick Vitale would call a “diaper dandy”. Alexander was a finalist for the Morgan Wootten player of the year award, but it ended up going to fellow Chicagoan Jahlil Okafor. Those two are going to have some battles in the future, and let’s hope that the Duke Blue Devils and Jayhawks are scheduled to play next season. They had a battle at the Champions Classic that was one for the ages, and seeing them do battle again would be a true thrill.

All for Prep today, but be sure to keep an eye out for a slideshow about Jabari Parker later on as well. Much thanks for reading, and here is some fortune cookie wisdom as always.
