The Duke Blue Devils Top Rated Recruiting Class Will Not Go Undefeated Next Season
I know this one will probably have Blue Devil nation throwing hate at me on twitter, but this article had to be done after I read the tweet below.
Tyus Jones, Rasheed Sulaimon, Semi Ojeleye, Jabari Parker, Jahlil Okafor = Undefeated.

The Duke Blue Devils are going to be super, duper competitive in every game that they play in next season, but they are also not going to go undefeated. It is much too dependent on chance; another team could just get scalding hot from the perimeter for a single game and then tip the table over.
Do not get me wrong though; this team is going to be the title contender from the opening tip of the season, and it would surprise me if that changed by the end of the year. Oh, and for those out there who still think the Blue Devils will go undefeated after all of that reasoning, then just ask the Wichita State Shockers how east it is to run the table. They got bounced by another top rated recruiting class, but those Kansas kids sure had a fun ride.
This has not been done since the legendary Bobby Knight, and my bet is that it will remain that way unless the former Hoosiers head coach wants to make a comeback. For the Blue Devils, does a national title seem likely? Yes. But going undefeated. Not quite.
