Cliff Alexander got to play quite a bit with Myles Turner during the McDonald’s All American game practices last week, but it seems that the uncommitted big man is not any closer to making a recruiting decision.
“He said he hasn’t made up his mind yet,” Alexander said to the Kansas City Star. “So hopefully we can entice him to come to Kansas.”
You can check out the full piece in the tweet below, and my favorite part was when Alexander tells Turner that head coach Bill Self would get him ready for the big leagues. This is true, but you have to wonder what Turner’s highest priority is when it comes to college. It is possible that staying closer to home is more important to him, but we will just have to see.

Turner should make his decision within the next few weeks, and I think it greatly depends on whether Joel Embiid is going to declare for the draft or not. If Embiid leaves, then Turner could fit in quite nicely with Self’s offense. However, if the top five projected pick does not leave, then we could see Turner suiting up for the Texas Longhorns. In either case, you know Rant Sports Prep will have your back. Longhorn and Jayhawk fans can keep an eye on my twitter feed, and I will be offering an update as soon as a decision is reached. Thanks as always; stay safe and love each other out there.
