Uncommitted Center Myles Turner Had Some Injury Issues at Nike Hoop Summit
Myles Turner is the top ranked prospect left the 2014 college basketball recruiting class, and it is not hard to see why college basketball fans are interested in this young man. He is a legitimate 6’10″, and he can shoot the three ball with ease. His favorite player is Kevin Durant, which bodes well for the Texas Longhorns chances at landing Turner. I watched him closely at the Nike Hoop Summit, and it seems that he hurt himself a bit during the game.
I noticed this thanks to analyst, Fran Fraschilla, who did an excellent job of calling the game along with the esteemed Paul Biancardi. You can see Fraschilla’s tweet below, and the injury seems to mainly be affecting Turner’s lower half.
Myles Turner's knee situation seemed to flare up at @nikehoopsummit. Did not run well during week. Still raw as well. Great kid/attitude.

Turner should be coming to a decision quite soon; he said recently that he would make his announcement sometime after the Jordan Brand Classic, which is only three days away at this point. In any case, Rant Sports Prep will be on it whenever Turner does make a call, so be sure to stop by again sometime real soon. Stop by later for a piece on how Emmanuel Mudiay helped his tock with the pro basketball GMs last weekend.
