Uncommitted 2016 Recruit Harry Giles III Returns From ACL Tear
Harry Giles III underwent an ACL tear last June, but he recently got cleared to play again and the forward out of Wesleyan Christian Academy (High Point, N.C.) should prove himself as one of the top players in the 2016 college basketball recruiting class.
Here is an excerpt about Giles’ return per the fabulous Jason Jordan of USA TODAY High School Sports.
”We know, we know, you already know all about Giles,” Jordan wrote. “Makes sense since he was considered the top player in the 2016 class before tearing his ACL, MCL and meniscus last June. Giles recently got cleared to play again and after nearly a year off he’s eager to earn his “top dog” status back. As one of the most versatile players in the country, regardless of class, we’re thinking he’s going to do just that.”
His versatility as a player is hard to deny, and any top college basketball program would be lucky to have Giles; he has not broken down his recruiting list as of yet, but that is definitely something we will keep an eye on in the coming year. That is all for Rant Sports Prep today, but be sure to stop by our pro football page later tonight for a slideshow on what the Texans should do with the first pick of the draft.
Quite happy to say that I will not have my eye on the Donald Sterling mess in LA tonight, because I am going to the United Center to see the the guillotine treatment. French Revolution style.
