Duke Blue Devils Spacing Will Be Better Off Without Jabari Parker Next Season
The Duke Blue Devils got some news recently that may have received mixed reviews. Jabari Parker decided to enter the draft, and that means that he will not return to Durham next season.
This may have angered or saddened some members of Blue Devil Nation, but to them I would say that there is plenty of talent on the way. I will not claim that the Blue Devils will be better off without Parker, but I will say that it could help out with their spacing on the offensive end.
The tweet below breaks down a bit what I am trying to claim in this piece.
Jahlil Okafor will absolutely require double & triple teams to stop. And with Duke's ability to shoot the 3 on the kickout? Whew. #Firepower

Again, I am not saying that they will be better off without Parker, but I also think that the Blue Devils might average more points per game next season with the best recruiting class in the country coming to town. I also think that they will get out of the first round of the NCAA tournament, but that probably does not come as a shock to anyone.
One more Prep piece is on the way today, and then be sure to keep an eye out later on for a slideshow about Magic Johnson. This Donald Sterling news has shaken a lot of people, and to read about all of the angles surrounding it Rant Sports will definitely have your back.
