Tyus Jones is the best point guard to commit to the Duke Blue Devils in some time; though some would probably argue that Kyrie Irving was more talented overall than the Apple Valley (MN) guard. I would still venture to predict however, that Jones will have a better college career than Irving.
That is probably not an amazing prediction, because Irving barely had a collegiate career, but there you go. Sometimes you just have to make the obvious call.

Got a few more pieces on the way today, and then be sure to stop by later tonight for breakdowns on all of the pro basketball games. I do not know about you all, but I found the first round to be absolutely exhausting and I am ready for the work load to die down just a little bit.
Not a lot of folks have been hyping Jones as of late, and I think a lot of them will be singing a different tune after they see the floor general and big man Jahlil Okafor on the court together. Having talent like Grayson Allen and Justise Winslow on the wings will not hurt either, but they have not been getting as much attention.
College basketball will not gear up again in a big time way until next November, but we will have plenty of predictions for you in the coming months. For the Blue Devils? I anticipate them getting into the Final Four next season, and at the very least having a better season than Mercer. Sorry. Had to go there.
