Jahlil Okafor is a player that I followed pretty much all season, and it should be fun to see how he transitions into his college career. He could end up being the second freshman in any many seasons to lead the Blue Devils in scoring and rebounding.
Frank Kaminsky will be a tough matchup for Okafor, because the Badgers center can take the former Whitney Young (IL) big man out to the three point line.
The Blue Devils and Badgers should both be top twenty-five teams next season, and it would not surprise me to see either of them in the Final Four as well. I have predicted that the Blue Devils will get there for some time, but it still remains to be seen for Bo Ryan’s scrappy squad. They were a thrill to watch last year, although I have my questions about whether his coaching styie is designed for success in the postseason.
One more Prep piece is on the way for the day, and then be sure to keep an eye out for a slideshow comparing LeBron James and Kevin Durant as well. As for Okafor’s talent? Watch out. Because Duke hasn’t had a big man this talented since Elton Brand.
