Bradley Beal’s old high school coach did an interview recently with USA TODAY, and I thought that all you Washington Wizard fans out there might be interested in what his old mentor had to say about the shooting guard’s current playoff series.
“It will be very interesting. Indiana has the experience factor working for them. If they start to get inconsistent again and start to struggle, I think Washington will beat them,” said Beal’s former head coach Kelvin Lee. “I definitely expect Bradley to continue to thrive. He loves this stage. He’s built for it. I definitely think he’ll eventually be an all star and I could see him being an Olympian.”
I agree with the Olympian part, because Team USA is always in need of shooting for the international style of play. There might not be another shooter in the NBA that I would want more than Beal, but I guess that you could make a case for Stephen Curry.

I still might have to think about it for a second though.
The Wizards will need to win game 6 tonight in order to make this a real series, but the 40 rebound discrepancy from last game does give me a bit of hope. Also, the fact that Roy Hibbert is softer than baby poo-poo as Gilbert Arenas famously tweeted.
They will need Beal as well as Trevor Ariza to have a great shooting game, because we cannot always expect the high percentage that John Wall offered in game 5. In any case, you can know as a fan that neither Wall nor Beal will be afraid of the moment. They were built for it.
