Andrew Wiggins’ Vertical Leap Showed Why Former Gatorade POY Didn’t Need Combine

The recent photo taken of Andrew Wiggins’ vertical leap did not come as a surprise to me, and his athletic ability is one of the many reasons the Canadian forward is projected to be a top three pick in this summer’s draft. The lottery still has yet to shake out, but my hope is firmly on the Toronto Raptors. You can check out Wiggins’ absurd leap below.

That would certainly make Drake a happy rapper, and I would not be mad if the Raptors experienced a bit of success. Lord knows that the Vince Carter situation did not shake out very well, and it was quite cool to see the Toronto faithful out in full force during the playoffs.

They definitely have some organizational decisions to make going forward, but they are in a far better place than they have been for the last decade. It is a shame that Jay-Z and Drake will probably both not be attending any more playoff games, but Jay is Kevin Durant’s agent and Drake is a bandwagon fan, so it would not surprise me to see either of them at the NBA finals. If only I could be there myself, then I could cover it all in stunning detail for you. Here is hoping that the Raptors get to draft Wiggins, because the young Canadian said last summer that he wishes that he could play for them one day. It will also be fun to watch Wiggins compete internationally and I expect Steve Nash to field quite a competitive Canadian squad in 2016.
