The Oklahoma Sooners are trying to regain supremacy of the Big 12 in the near future. They can start down that road by getting the best of the Texas Longhorns once more in the recruiting game.

Soso Jamabo, the four star running back out of Plano West High School (TX), is an important target for both schools and it seems that he is leaning towards the Sooners.

The 6-foot-3, 205-pound back is a two sport talent at his high school and he should be able to play his freshman year depending on the depth chart. If you checked out his junior season highlight reel, then you would see a player who is able to use his height as a strength. He might not project as a running back at the NFL level, but this is a guy who will have no problem stiff arming tacklers to the turf during his college career.

Jamabo easily has one of the coolest names in the 2015 class, and, according to 24/7 Sports’ composite rankings, he is the third best running back overall. He is fast enough to be a threat in the passing game, and I could see him developing into quite a nice threat if he improves that aspect of his game. He will also need to do a bit more blocking in college, but maybe the Sooners won’t mention that part until they can get him to sign on the line that is dotted.
