We all know that defense wins championships, and that is why it is almost more important to recruit quality players on that side of the ball. All of the commits on this list are rated five stars by most recruiting outlets, and you should be seeing some of them in the NFL within the next three to four years. College football is in pretty good shape.

The 6-foot-5, 229 pound defensive end will enter a long tradition of defensive ferociousness with the Miami Hurricanes, and we will have to see if he can help lead them back to another ACC title. It probably will not happen next season, because it is tough to win the conference when you have to play Jameis Winston and the FSU Seminoles.

4. Jabrill Peppers- CB Michigan

Jabrill Peppers can flat out dominate the cornerback position, and he should get a starting spot right away for the Michigan Wolverines. The Wolverine faithful will hope for Peppers to be at his best when they play OSU, which should not be a problem for the shutdown corner.

3. Myles Garrett- DE Texas A&M

The Texas A&M Aggies' recruiting has improved greatly ever since Johnny Manziel stepped onto campus; it is also promising to their future that they continue to grab elite defensive recruits like Myles Garrett. The defensive end has blazing speed on the outside edge for someone of his size, and Kevin Sumlin seems to have won the lottery yet again.

2. Andrew Brown- DT Virginia

I had to put at least one defensive tackle on the list, and Andrew Brown was the clear choice. He will be an enormous run stopper for the Virginia Cavaliers next season both literally (298 pounds) and figuratively. It has been quite a long time since the Cavs won the ACC, but Brown will at least make them competitive next season.

1. Da'Shawn Hand- DE Alabama

You knew that the Alabama Rolling Tide would be featured at some point on this list, and sometimes you have to save the best for last. Nick Saban will have his team ready to make another run at a national title, and you can bet that Da'Shawn Hand (6-foot-4, 260 pounds) will see the field at times next season. He is an absolutely freakish athlete.

FAIL!
