5 College Football Coaches Who Have Helped Dominate College Football Recruiting Classes

College football coaches are a lot like CEOs, but often they have to pitch the future to young men who have rarely looked one year away and much less three or four years in the future. These five coaches have made the biggest difference in their respective programs in quite a short amount of time. Only major conferences are considered here, but once Boise State beats Oklahoma in a bowl game again then let me know.

The Texas A&M Aggies have appeared frequently at Rant Sports Prep as of late, and you should probably get used to it. If Kevin Sumlin can continue getting young players like Kyler Murray to buy into the Johnny Football mystique, then they could keep on driving towards title contention. Get ready for their 2015 class, because it is stacked.

4. Nick Saban- Alabama Crimson Tide

The Alabama Crimson Tide are seemingly involved with every single blue chip prospect in the class. Nick Saban is a large part of that, but it is mainly his assistants who handle the day-to-day grind of recruiting. The head coach's job is to develop these young pups up once they get to school, and then put them in position to win games. They have two 5-star commits already locked in.

The Auburn Tigers might be a surprise to some on this list, but not to any regular readers. Gus Malzahn has impressed me with the job his staff has done on the recruiting trail, and they could be in for a top five class when it it all shakes out. The headliner is 5-star running back Jovon Robinson out of Milledgeville (GA).

2. Jimbo Fisher- Florida State Seminoles

Jimbo Fisher has been knocking it out of the park lately, and the 2015 recruiting class is no different. 5-star defensive back Derwin James headlines the group so far, and the only weakness seems to be at running back. They have enough backs on the roster at the moment though, and they could fill that gap in recruiting by the end of the season.

The Clemson Tigers obviously have some nice skill players coming to town in 2015, and head coach Dabo Swinney is a huge reason. 4-star commits, WR Shadell Bell and QB Kelly Bryant, will both give extra fire power to the Tigers one day, and they will be joined by a host of talent on the defensive line as well. C.J. Spiller's former team is ranked the second best class so far according to Rivals.
