I finally watched "The Blindside" yesterday, and I was pleasantly surprised by Sandra Bullock's performance. It was a pretty decent movie, but I forgot that Nick Saban was the LSU Tigers head coach when Michael Oher was coming up. The film made me think about the top college football prospects in the country, and this list examines the top five players left to grab.

Ray-Ray McCloud III (5-foot-9, 175 pounds) may sound like a comic book character, but in reality he is a skilled athlete in the 2015 college football recruiting class. The finalists to land his commitment include the Clemson Tigers and the Florida Gators, but the Alabama Crimson Tide are always involved with the elite skill players as well.

4. Trenton Thompson- DT

Trenton Thompson is probably the largest player (6-foot-4, 292 pounds) on this list, and so it should not surprise that he could have a seismic effect on whatever college football program he commits to. The Georgia Bulldogs will probably be the lucky school, but he has also shown interest in the Clemson Tigers.

3. Byron Cowart- DE

Bryant Cowart's physical prowess is obvious the moment that you ever watch tape of him. The defensive end out of Armwood High School (FL) is being pursued by all of the top programs in the country, but the Florida Gators have the inside track. It helps having a prospect in your backyard; Cowart visited the Gators twice this Spring and it seems like that is the way he is leaning.

2. Iman Marshall- DB

Iman Marshall is one of the top defensive players in the 2015 class, and he will be quite a prize for whoever lands him. He looks like a shoe-in commit for the USC Trojans, but he has not signed on the dotted line yet. The cornerback out of Long Beach (CA) has blazing speed (4.5 second 40-yard dash) and a great instinct for finding the football.

1. Jacques Patrick- RB

Jacques Patrick has one of of the nicest sounding names in the 2015 college football recruiting class, but that does not even begin to speak to his football ability. The running back out of Timber Creek High School (FL) is most likely down to the Florida State Seminoles and the Florida Gators. He might be taller than your typical back (6-foot-2, 232 pounds), but he uses his size to the advantage of his football team.
