Smackdown Spoilers For April 6, 2012
Fan Pop

Who doesn’t like spoilers?  If you are a WWE fan with a life, our Smackdown spoilers will tide you over about the Friday night show.  In fact, I only read Smackdown spoilers.  No time to watch the show.  As this piece progresses, Wrestlezone will be responsible for the Smackdown spoilers.  Combined with my biting wit, we have ourselves a column.

David Otunga & Mark Henry def. R-Truth (Handicap Match)

Team Johnny is still on the warpath.  This match sees two of the dominant members of the team take out one of the members of Team Teddy.  Not surprising, especially seeing Otunga pick up the win.  He needs to improve in the ring, but he’s getting there.

Randy Orton def.  Kane (No DQ)

This is also not a shock.  Orton did the job at Wrestlemania 28, so Kane gives one back.  Not sure where this feud is going, but oh well.  Orton needs something to do.

Ryback def.  Jobber

Ryback is the new ring name for Skip Sheffield, former member of the Nexus.  He kind of annihilated his ankle, which put him on the shelf.  The shows after Wrestlemania are always the time for returns and debuts.  No word on whether he is a face or a heel.

Daniel Bryan Promo; Dumps A.J.

Bryan goes full heel mode by dumping his girlfriend.  Too bad the fans love him too much.  He’s like the polar opposite of John Cena.  I personally like this Bryan character and he’s a main event player for awhile.

Big Show def.  Heath Slater

Squash match.  No purpose but to make Show look strong.  I wonder who will be his first opponent to come for his belt.  Ryback maybe?

Nikki Bella def.  Beth Phoenix.

Another squash, but not the way you expect.  The Divas division is a joke.   Enough said.   Until Kharma comes back, it is a waste of time.

Alberto Del Rio def.  Sheamus

ADR breaks out the Eddie Guerrero chair spot.  Nice homage to the former great.   This will be Sheamus’s first feud over his newly one World Heavyweight Championship.  I expect him to hold on to this for a while.
