Brock Lesnar WWE DVD Release Information

“The Next Big Thing” Brock Lesnar is about to have The Next Big DVD. According to the below synopsis of the DVD from WWE, this will be a relaunched version of his 2003 “Here Comes the Pain” DVD.  With it being a relaunch, it is safe to say that this will also include some extra extra footage of him, since he made his WWE return on the night after Wrestlemania 28.

This DVD set will be a 3 disc DVD and a 2 disc blu ray, scheduled to hit stores on Oct 30th 2012.

The original Brock Lesnar DVD came out in August 2003. Between Sept 2003-March 2004, Lesnar had more matches during that time frame, but not some of his greater work, as he was on his way out at this time, with the exception of his Biker Chain Match with The Undertaker at No Mercy 2003 and his 1 hour Iron Man Match with Kurt Angle on Smackdown in September of 2003. But when he made his return in 2012, the DVD can include his return, his match with John Cena at WWE Extreme Rules 2012 and his potentially upcoming match with Triple H at Summer Slam 2012. This could be a very entertaining DVD, with new interview footage from him as well.

Below is the DVD synopsis from WWE.

The night after WrestleMania XXVIII, Brock Lesnar made a shocking return to the ring and leveled John Cena with an F-5, sending a message that after 8 years, the pain is back. In 2002 & 2003, “The Next Big Thing” brought it to the biggest & baddest competition in WWE, becoming the youngest WWE Champion of all time, and a household name overnight. His awe-inspiring physique, amateur championship pedigree and affinity for punishing opponents made him an unstoppable force in the ring. Now, after years of dominating the MMA scene, Brock is back and looking to steamroll the biggest Superstars of today. This DVD set includes the original 2003 documentary ‘Here Comes The Pain’ plus 30 minutes of new interview footage, and 6 hours of matches not included in the original DVD. Featuring classic matches against Hulk Hogan, Undertaker, Randy Orton, Rey Mysterio & more, plus Brock’s controversial comments upon his return to sports entertainment!
