Chavo Guerrero Signs Deal With TNA Wrestling

By Riley Schmitt

Chavo Guerrero is not exactly the most successful Guerrero to ever wrestle.  His career never did much of anything in the WWE so he is taking his talents to TNA Wrestling.  Guerrero might find more of a niche there than he ever did with the big company.

TNA Impact Wrestling have announced the signing of former WWE wrestler Chavo Guerrero.

The statement on their website says that Guerrero is set to debut on next weeks episode of Impact Wrestling, on Thursday 26th July.

Chavo Guerrero only got his big push in the big company if it was involved with Eddie Guerrero in some way.  Los Guerreros were one heck of a tag team and had some great matches with other teams.  Once Eddie ended up passing away, Chavo got another push right after and even had a nice run as ECW Champion.  Other than that, there wasn’t a lot there.

He was the first feud for Sin Cara, which was nothing special.  Seriously, those matches were just plain awful.  He was always a problem backstage, as he never agreed with how he was used.  He might have been able to wrestle a good match but he couldn’t draw a reaction.  If no one reacts to you, you are not going to have a successful career.

Maybe things will turn around for Chavo in TNA.  I doubt it, but stranger things have happened.  His career has never worked out the way he hoped, but that could change now.
