TNA TV Champion, Devon, Gone From The Company?

TNA Television Champion, Brother Devon, posted the following message on Twitter:

“I would like to thank the tna fans for making the last seven years fun . im sure we will see each other again down the road real soon.

im ready to see where god bring me to next. i cant wait . i see big thing on the way

o and HELL NO IM NOT RETIRING.”

This is a good indication that Devon is no longer with Impact Wrestling, even though he was just on the latest episode of Impact. However, this may explain as to why TNA has not been honoring their claim to commitment to have the Television championship defended every week on Thursday Night Impact. Fans have been pretty critical, since TNA has stepped to the side of having the title defended on a weekly basis, per the Impact Wrestling General Manager, Hollywood Hulk Hogan.

Devon leaves behind an absolutely impressive record of accomplishments that he as attained not only in TNA, but in professional wrestling in general. Back in July, we at Rant Sports, covered the story that was going around about both Devon and Bully Ray looking to leave TNA and possibly coming back to the WWE. No word as of yet regarding where Devon will be heading. But having that Devon has reinvented himself and his wrestling character, it is without question that Devon has a lot more in the tank in the world of professional wrestling.

As of the TNA TV title. It is obvious that the company will have to crown a new champion soon. And with Bound For Glory (their “Wrestlemania”) coming up in October, that would be an ideal venue to crown a new champion.

i think it’s awesome that devon is returing home to wwe, after leving tna,he will have to give up his tv title,at less he is coming back to wwe soon, but bully ray is staying with tna for 2 years, until 2014 when his contract for tna is up,then he will come back to wwe,to be with devon as devon dudley, bully ray will be as bubba ray dudley, known as tag team of the dudley boyz, but hell no that devon will not f***ing retired,he will never retiring, forget that sh**,anyway that’s what im saying,i be glad that anymore of former tna wrestlers will return home to wwe as wwe wrestlers, because they r getting board and tired of that f***ing compnay, wwe is better then tna wrestling.
