Last night’s addition of Monday Night Raw, ended on a very unexpected and controversial note. As reported on Rant Sports earlier, WWE Champion CM Punk was in the middle of a promo battle with WWE Chairman, Vince McMahon after their “street fight” match. McMahon was in the ring and Punk was in the audience. Out of no where, we see the WWE Champion, Punk, blatantly go Ron Artest on a fan in the audience by throwing a vicious elbow and attacking him. See below for the video.

CM Punk Attacks Fan Live On Raw

This video and this story has burned like a forest fire all day today, as the buzz was unstoppable about this story on the internet. Many asking if this was a work or if it was legit. My argument as to why this was a legit (unfortunate) situation was due to the camera work and also how unnecessary it was for this to occur as it is a direct conflict to the current storyline that was at hand with Punk. However, to put an end to the questions, apparently the individual who was the cause of this attack came out on twitter today and admitted to his doing.

@DarioTeyes yoo tweet fam check this video of me live on tv on USA retweet youll get a good laugh

@DarioTeyes@YCDannyBoy bro I’m the one that was f__g with him lmao them he rocked an innocent fan

@DarioTeyes@YCDannyBoy that guy is about to be a millionaire!!! I punched his kidney and slapped his back hella hard

@DarioTeyes@YCDannyBoy bro he straight pounced on a poor day white guy. I hit him ran away then ran back and stood next to him cause I saw the camera

@DarioTeyes@YCDannyBoy cause I dipped fast! Come on now poor fat guy is just hanging out putting his glasses on

@DarioTeyes@YCDannyBoy lol I made power moves!! He’s not poor anymore lol bout to make some money

@DarioTeyes Secret service ain’t got s__t on me! I will get a picture with former president Bill Clinton

If this Dario Teyes guy did do it, I’m not sure what is more ridiculous. The fact that you provoked another man, physically and now his job security is in question. Or the fact that you go on Twitter and boast about how proud you were to RUN AWAY! I must’ve missed the memo where cowardliness was a fashion trend, because this Dario guy wears it well. If anything is going to be held against Punk, I ask that WWE look into this individual who pontificates on committing such a stupid act.

WWE, please give Punk the benefit of doubt.
