The state of Michigan, come to do a job, stay for the local jail cell. Apparently this was taken a bit too literally for current WWE Diva Kaitlyn (whose real name is Celeste Bonin) who was arrested yesterday (11/20/12) while in the state of Michigan.
Kaitlyn, was in town for a WWE house show at the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan. When Kaitlyn arrived to the arena, so did some of the police officers from Kent County. And no, they did not show up with autograph pads, but they showed up instead with an arrest warrant for her.
Apparently the last time Kaitlyn was in Michigan she received a speeding ticket, which was never taken care of.
Shortly after the arrest she was taken to a local station where she was booked and awaited to make bail. But that wait didn’t last too long as she was able to take care of that relatively quick. Kaitlyn was released on a $315 bond.
Kaitlyn is following through well with procedure. Soon after the release, Kaitlyn released a statement saying, “During a previous visit to Michigan, I was cited for a traffic violation. I am fully cooperating with authorities to resolve the matter.”
No word on weather or not this will effect Kaitlyn’s chances when it comes to her current push in the limited Divas division. But giving the fact that this is a harmless situation, its a good chance that this will pass for her, which is good.
Kaitlyn competed for the WWE Divas championship at the 2012 Survivor Series this past Sunday against Eve, but lost the match via pinfall.
