It’s that time of year again when the WWE brainstorms ideas for potential WrestleMania matches. Unlike last year, no official matches have been booked for WrestleMania 29 as of yet. One of the ideas that have been thrown around is for Ryback to face off against The Big Show.

Ever since John Cena got injured and Ryback had to replace him to face CM Punk at Hell in a Cell, he has become a main event player for the company ever since. Not only that but he’s a legitimate person that the fans actually cheer for. Because of his popularity, the WWE wants to make sure that he has a meaningful match at its biggest show if the year.

The plan as of right now is for Ryback to do something memorable and special that night. To do this, WWE wants him to pick up the Big Show and march around the ring to deliver his Shellshock finisher on him.

On paper this sounds like a great thing to do, although Ryback has botched his finishing move a few times carrying big guys. He had trouble doing his move on Tensai on Raw a couple of weeks ago and he even struggled to do it properly on Paul Heyman during a WWE live event.

Hopefully both Ryback and Big Show will be able to pull off the move cleanly. The last thing they would want to do is to embarrass themselves at WrestleMania and botch the spot altogether. If done correctly, it could go on to be as famous as Hulk Hogan lifting up Andre the Giant at WrestleMania III.
