The All Too Familiar Road For The Nature Boy Ric Flair. Divorce...Again.

The Nature Boy Ric Flair has walked the aisle, easily thousands of times to win multiple world championships across the globe. However, the wrestling aisle is not the only aisle he has walked many times as he has been married four times as well. But with the dark end of marriage, being no stranger to him, he once again looks down the gloom and despair that is divorce. Ric Flair’s current wife Jacqueline Fliehr has filed for legal separation in Meclenberg County, North Carolina earlier this month siting acts of “illicit sexual behavior”.

In the documents, Jackie explains “Husband has had numbers intimate relationships with other women during the parties marriage, to the embarrassment and humiliation of wife.”.

This reason is why Ric Flair’s past marriages have failed as well. Jacqueline is Ric Flairs 4th wife as they got married in the fall of 2009. Before the marriage, Flair made it no question at all that Jackie was an important person in his life and she really has helped him turn his life around in being a better man. But as Flair says “To Be The Man, You Gotta Beat The Man”, but unfortunately Flair has yet to beat that part of himself that easily gives into temptation.

We all know and grew to know Flair as the “Jet flyin, limousine ridin. Kiss Stealin, Wheelin and Dealin. Son of a Gun”, and that persona is what drew us to so close to him, where we wanted to live vicariously through his character. But that’s the operative word, “character”. There comes a time when you have to know when to differentiate the character that you play on television vs the man that you are in reality. I respect the heck out of Ric’s passion for the game of Pro Wrestling, no matter what he will always remain in my top of all time. But when it comes to his actions outside of the ring, I cringe every time I hear his name in the news because it seems that it is never good. Wrestling makes Flair “A good person”, and I think that he realizes it and that is why he will never leave its side. But when Flair is without pro wrestling, that is when he seems almost uncontrollable.

Even though Flair has been down this road a few times in his past, for the sake of his happiness, I hope that him and Jacqueline will be able to reconcile. If she was able to accept him with all of the baggage that he carried into the marriage, she obviously saw something in him that no one else has yet to see. But Flair really needs to stop his extra martial affairs and realize that he has unlimited riches in what he has with his already existing family. Whats left of it, anyway.
