Although no matches have been publicly announced for WrestleMania 29 as of yet, the WWE booking department has already penciled in what will be the top 4 matches for the show.

What those 4 matches will be, nobody knows yet except for WWE staff itself. With that being said, here’s our prediction for what the top matches for WrestleMania 29 will be.

The Rock vs. John Cena for the WWE Championship:

The Rock and Cena headlined last year’s WrestleMania in an historic encounter. The match went on for close to 30 minutes and the two men did not disappoint most fans. In the end, the older male fans were satisfied to see that The Rock beat Cena cleanly. As a result of this, WrestleMania 28 broke numerous records and became the highest selling PPV in company history.

With the way things are going now, it seems like WWE is booking a rematch between the two. As much as I don’t like rematches, the numbers don’t lie and seeing these two square off once again is sure to make people want to purchase the PPV.

Brock Lesnar vs. Triple H:

I still didn’t like the first encounter between these two men and I don’t really want to see wrestle each other wrestle again. Reports still suggest Triple H wants his revenge on Lesnar. Triple H can now book his own matches whenever he feels like it and doesn’t want to miss out wrestling at WrestleMania 29 either. Lesnar is the only logical opponent for him anyway. The fans may not want to see it, but it’s looking inevitable at this stage.

Sheamus vs. Randy Orton for the World Heavyweight Championship:

This is another match that has been discussed internally via the WWE booking department. No matter how lukewarm of a reception Sheamus receives, they are still adamant on booking him as the top babyface of the Smackdown brand. Orton has expressed his interest in becoming a heel again so an encounter between these two seems highly likely to ignite very soon.

CM Punk vs. The Undertaker:

Punk has been riding on top of the WWE ladder for over a year now and is still the WWE Champion (for now). If The Rock beats him at the Royal Rumble, it’s unlikely Punk will fade away be in a mid-card match at WrestleMania. As WWE’s top heel, it’s likely he will challenge The Undertaker to try and beat his streak. The Undertaker has mentioned he’s fit enough to compete at WrestleMania 29 so that’s a good sign.

Anyway, what do you think of our predictions? Will they come true or will you book WrestleMania 29 differently?
