WWE Rumors: DX To Headline Hall of Fame 2013
As you may have already heard, Mick Foley has been announced as the first inductee to the WWE Hall of Fame 2013. As big as this is, Foley is not the headliner of the event.
According to a report from Wrestlezone, the “Attitude Era” stable of DX will headline the event.
The people that are expected to be inducted from the group include: Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Sean Waltman (X-Pac), Billy Gunn and Road Dogg.
Considering Chyna was also in the group and was one of its original members, it looks like she will not be officially recognized as a part of DX and will not be taking part in the Hall of Fame 2013. This is mainly because Chyna still dislikes the WWE and the fact that she’s an adult porn star now…
As for Michaels, this will be the second time he gets inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. The first time was back in 2011 when the was inducted exactly one year after he retired from in-ring action for good. He will join Ric Flair as one of only two men to be inducted to the Hall of Fame on more than one occasion.
It will be interesting to see if the other members of the group get inducted into the Hall of Fame as individuals as well in the years to come. It’s likely Triple H won’t induct himself just yet since he will own the business itself once Vince McMahon retires soon. Still, he could get inducted again if “The Kliq” and and “Evolution” get inducted in the future too…
