WWE Power Rankings: The Top 30 WWE Superstars
WWE Power Rankings
The world of the WWE is a fluid one, constantly in flux as the story lines play out from night to night. It can be difficult at times to keep track of who is rising to the top, or whose star has begun to dim. The ebb and flow of the evolving scenarios can shift the power structure from one to another in the blink of an eye, or with the swing of a chair, as the case often may be.
It is with this in mind that we here at Rant Sports thought it best to clear things up by ranking the top 30 individuals and teams that are currently dominating the culture of the WWE.
CM Punk had held the title of WWE Champion for as long as a person with a slight case of amnesia could remember, but he was slated to face The Rock at the Royal Rumble. Was he able to retain his belt and continue his run which has spanned portions of three calendar years, or was he uprooted and People’s Elbow’d down the list?
What about John Cena, The Big Show, or The Miz? Did any of them find success on Sunday night? If they were successful, were they able to enjoy that success throughout the insanity of Monday Night Raw? And what of the Divas? It is the curse of a past time so utterly entertaining; miss one moment, and the whole WWE Universe can be tipped upside down.

Tensai could have been higher on the list, but coming out to the ring in lingerie for a dance off against Brodus Clay cost him any credibility his face tattoos may have earned him!
29. Prime Time Players
The duo of Darren Young and Titus O’Neil are now calling themselves the Prime Time Players. Unfortunately for them, their shot at Prime Time comedy fell flat when they faced off against Ryback in a “Make Me Laugh Challenge.” In time the two may find a way to keep from being the punchline, but for now they they hold down the 29th spot on our list.
28. Zack Ryder
Zack Ryder had a disappointing showing in the Royal Rumble and for a guy who lost his chance at Wrestlemania, Ryder seemed real happy on Monday Night when the Raw Roulette wheel landed on WWE Karaoke. We have a feeling 28th is enough to make this clown extremely satisfied.
R-Truth was a no-show at the Royal Rumble, but despite a recent knee injury, he is not listed as “on the shelf.” His insane energy keeps him on the list, but he will need to make an appearance soon to stay relevant.
26. Sin Cara
At 5’7” Sin Cara seems tiny in comparison to his WWE contemporaries, but you would be hard pressed to find a Superstar who looks forward to entering the ring with this masked daredevil.
25. Rey Mysterio
Rey Mysterio needs no introduction, nor explanation as to why he is a top 30 talent. Truth is, if Rey were not just returning from injury, you can believe he would be higher on this list.
24. Santino Marrella
Santino Marrella stormed into the ring at the Royal Rumble and promptly cleared the mat. Unfortunately, not one of his victims touched the floor, and Santino soon found himself on the wrong side of the ropes as the first contestant eliminated.
23. Brodus Clay
After failing to inform Tensai their scheduled lingerie pillow fight had been cancelled in favor of a dance off, Brodus Clay could have been penalized for subjecting us to such a site. Still, it was the best prank we have seen in a long time and Clay lands at 23.
Natalya is our first WWE Diva to hit the list and while she would have been higher up were we ranking the WWE’s hottest Superstars, 22 seems about right for her this week.
21. The Great Kalil
The Great Kalil may have said something that would have convinced us to place him higher...but, we couldn’t understand him.
3MB is made up of Heath Slater, Drew McIntyre and Jinder Mahal, and although they were introduced to Kalil’s headbanging technique on Monday Night, they still get the nod at number 20 simply because we can understand what they are saying!
19. The Usos
The Usos are a dangerous duo, competent on their own and downright destructive when they are together.
18. AJ Lee
Who does not love AJ Lee? Or better yet, who has NOT loved AJ Lee. The WWE’s most fickle temptress has had love more love interests than we can keep track of. One thing for certain though is her willingness to play the part of a woman scorned.
Our final Diva on the list has to be Kaitlyn. This spirited champion has the strength to hold it down and the endurance to last all night...and she is a pretty good wrestler.
16. The Shield
The Shield has been poking its nose everywhere it does not belong. Seth Rollings, Dean Ambrose, and Roman Reigns know how to intimidate and their Triple Powerbomb is nothing to be laughed at.
15. Kofi Kingston
Kofi Kingston once again showed himself to be a man of many resources when he was tossed from the ring at the Royal Rumble and used the big back of Tensai to keep from reaching the floor. His use of a chair as a pogo stick showcased his ingenuity and got him back into the ring for long enough to make the top 15 Superstars on our list.
14. The Miz
At 6’2 220, The Miz has held just about every title the WWE has to offer and he can now add guest referee to his resume after he presided over a slightly uneven match between Randy Orton and Antonio Cesaro. Ask The Miz and he will surely tell you what a fair and balanced job he did. We are not so sure Cesaro would agree.
13. Team Rhodes Scholars
Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow often appear in the ring in one on one bouts, but put the two of them together and you have Team Rhodes Scholars. Apparently they believe it is on them to enlighten the rest of the WWE Superstars every chance they get.
12. Big Show
Big Show was tricked out of a victory on Sunday Night, he did his best to get revenge when Raw took the air on Monday. At 7 ft tall and nearly 450 lbs, Big Show delivers one of the nastiest Chokeslams the industry has ever seen.
11. Team Hell No
The odd pairing of Daniel Brian and Kane may seem to be an oddity, but it is an oddity that works with surprising efficiency. Trouble may be brewing in paradise, but as long as the two are working in tandem, Team Hell No is the strongest duo in the WWE.
10. Randy Orton
Only one man is known as the Apex Predator and that is Randy Orton. His stunning signature move, the RKO, is a thing of absolute beauty, and his killer instinct makes him a constant member of the WWE’s top 10 Superstars.
9. Wade Barrett
Wade Barrett was the original NXT champion and his size, strength, and speed suggest a very promising career for the WWE Superstar from England.
8. Antonio Cesaro
Antonio Cesaro may have ran into an RKO this past weekend, but it does little to diminish his standings as a top 8 talent in the WWE. Keep in mind The Miz was the guest referee and we certainly have not heard the end of this storyline.
7. Dolph Ziggler
Dolph Ziggler thought he had ended the career of one Chris Jericho, but was shocked to see the WWE legend appear as a part of the Royal Rumble on Sunday Night. The two seemed drawn towards each other throughout the entire match, but in the end, neither were able to become the last man standing.
Sheamus is as dangerous a WWE Champion the people have ever seen. He continues to be a threat to whoever holds the Belt and reminded everyone what he was capable of during his table match with Damien Sandow.
Ryback is a monster. Just look at the guy. No words are needed to clarify this any further.
4. CM Punk
CM Punk falls to #4 on our list after he was beaten by The Rock and stripped of his belt. Punk had held the title for 434 days before he was robbed by Vince McMahon. Which is exactly how he put it when he demanded a rematch with the Rock at Elimination Chamber.
3. John Cena
John Cena made a promise that 2013 was going to be his year and he is off to a good start. Cena entered the Royal Rumble as the 19th man and he ran the gauntlet the rest of the way out until he was the only warrior left. Now he will face the WWE Champion at Wrestlemania 29 and is looking to move even further up the power rankings.
2. The Rock
The Rock has gone full circle, from WWE Champion, to Box-Office Heavyweight, and now has returned to his place as the WWE Champ. In his recent title match with CM Punk, McMahon stepped in to strip Punk of his title due to interference during the match, but The Rock wanted the belt to truly be his and demanded McMahon restart the match rather than disqualify CM Punk. The People’s Champ put an end to CM Punk’s Championship run the way only The Rock can...with the People’s Elbow.
1. Alberto Del Rio
Topping our list off with Alberto Del Rio may not be the popular choice for the number one spot on our WWE Power Rankings, but Del Rio was successful in his title defense against Big Show and remains the World Heavyweight Champion. If one of the other Superstars on this list wants to move into the top spot, all they have to do is dethrone Del Rio. It is pretty simple really; to be the best you have to beat the best.
Special thanks to @CoachCbatch for his contribution to this list.
WWE Should Run Orton vs. Ambrose At Hell in a Cell
Neither man has much going on right now, and with Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt busy, it would be wasteful to make them team up against Harper and Strowman. Let them wrestle each other. Read More
