Brock Lesnar Could Retire Triple H

The stipulations for the Brock Lesnar vs. Triple H match at WrestleMania 29have now been confirmed. Will this be the final match of Triple H’s career?

Paul Heyman announced to the audience and viewers at home that the match will be “No Holds Barred.” He also added that Triple H’s career will be on the line too. This means if Lesnar wins, this might be the last time we will see Triple H wrestle inside of the wrestling ring.

There is some validity that Triple H will want to hang up his boots forever. He’s accomplished everything there is to do in the WWE and is a 13-time World Champion. Not to mention, he has already faced every big name in the history of the professional wrestling business.

It’s also worth mentioning that Triple H will become the chairman of the company very soon once Vince McMahon retires for good. He will have too many backstage responsibilities to attend to and won’t have time to wrestle much longer.

However, this is the professional wrestling business we are talking about and retirements never stick. Ric Flair and Mick Foley are two wrestlers that have “retired” on more than one occasion. Even if Lesnar beats Triple H, he could always wrestle again in one more match if he wants to.

One reason that Triple H won’t lose the match and retire will be his own ego. He’s already lost back-to-back matches against The Undertaker at WrestleMania and a third loss at the event might make him look weak. In my opinion, Triple H will win at WrestleMania 29 to get his revenge on the loss he suffered at SummerSlam to Lesnar.
