Top 10 Worst Moments In WrestleMania History
Weird WrestleMania Moments
This week begins the final home stretch of the road to WrestleMania 29, live from Met Life Stadium on Sunday April 7th 2013. The final stretch of Mania will be a daily reminder of how spectacular WrestleMania is through events, festivals, parties and media galas. To wrestling fans, WrestleMania is the equivalent of the SuperBowl to football fans. Needless to say, this is the week that everyone waits so impatiently for. However, while WrestleMania is an event to celebrate the greatest in ring talent in the world, Mania has also given us some of the most infamous moments we've ever experienced in our lives.
Just like with any sort of production and event, there will always be some sour with the sweet. A production of this magnitude encompasses many different viewpoints, opinions and approvals that the ideas have to go through before executed. So, it is only evident that some shenanigans will happen.
Many times there are wrestlers who are looking for that "WrestleMania moment" to occur. Usually this moment is equivalent to winning a major championship on the WrestleMania stage. Unfortunately, at times these superstars may bite off a little more than they can chew and wind up on the wrong end of that goal.
As fans, naturally we do not want to see these instances take place. Yet, to be honest, sometimes it’s those uncomfortable moments that make great conversation with your friends. We have seen some over the top gimmicks and finishes that have occurred, so what were the top moments of WrestleMania infamy to make its way into history? Feel free to find out by enjoying the list.

10.) We're Going Streaking!!! (WrestleMania 23)
Before the WWE Championship match could begin between John Cena and Shawn Michaels, a streaker felt the need to let the over 80,000 fans know that he was in attendance at Ford Field.
#9.) Goldberg vs Brock Lesnar (WrestleMania 20)
In what was expected to be a dream match, since Brock Lesnar first came into the WWE in 2002, all fans were excited to see Lesnar finally hook up Goldberg. Yet, a match of so much promise ended up stinking up Madison Square Garden.
#8.) 1 Event; 2nd Annual Show; 3 Locations? (WrestleMania 2)
On paper, the idea was genius and a great way to do something bigger than the previous year. However, having Wrestlemania take place in 3 different locations in 3 different time zones, ended up being a logistics nightmare.
7.) Kid Rock's Performance (WrestleMania 25)
Sure having Kid Rock perform in Reliant Stadium at WM 25 was a big deal! However, when the performance was 25 min, and it infringed on the entrance of the Divas in the Divas Battle Royal (Past and Present), maybe it wasn't needed after all. No one in the audience knew who was in the ring.
#6.) Kane vs The Great Khali (WrestleMania 23)
Everyone always appreciate a battle of the big man match. However, this match was as good as dead as the 80,000 fans in attendance at Ford Field reacted that way to this stiff match.
#5.) Rockin Robin Sings America The Beautiful (WrestleMania 5)
The WWF Womens Champion Rockin Robin must've been a last min idea because a singer she is NOT. After cracking some lyrics and being out of tune, when it was all said and done, Jesse The Body Ventura said it best when he said "Dont quit your day job, stick to wrestling."
#4.) Teri vs The Kat (WrestleMania 2000)
Surprisingly, this was the only match at WrestleMania 2000 that was a one on one match. Everything else had multiple wrestlers involved. This match would not have been missed if taken off the card. No matter how attractive they are, the crowd still let them know they were not wanted.
#3.) The Big Boss Man Hanging (WrestleMania 15)
Not only was The Undertaker being in a Hell in a Cell match unnecessary, but the whole hanging The Big Boss man via noose just screamed bad booking. When I say that, I mean "Russo".
2.) The Miller Lite Catfight Girls (WrestleMania 19)
In 2003, Miller Lite aired a Superbowl commercial of two girls catfighting that turned out to be a mega hit. Needless to say the WWE just HAD to capitalize on it. However, by the time WM 19 happened at SafeCo field, no one cared about them and their awful acting.
1.) The Big Show vs Akebono in a Sumo Match? (WrestleMania 21)
To this day, no one has any idea what the purpose of this waste of time was. Not only did we get a sumo match (that no one asked for), but the ropes were all taken down for a match that lasted 62 seconds? I would've been heated if I were the ring crew. But overall, this match was hated and still is, among fans.
