WWE Smackdown is heating up as we inch closer day by day to one of the most exciting pay per views, Money in the Bank. The matches between ladder match and championship rivals are coming to us once again in this action packed Friday Night event.
Here are what we have to look forward to on SyFy this Friday:
The Usos def. Rhodes Scholars
The no. 1 contenders for the Tag Team Championships, the Usos defeated Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow in a quick fight. The Usos seem to be bringing all their talent out ever since they landed the title match against tag champs Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns. Will this victory help further their momentum going into Money in the Bank? And will it allow them to become first time Tag Team Champions?
Alicia Fox def. Kaitlyn
After losing to Kaitlyn on this week’s episode of Raw, Alicia Fox was all too happy for a rematch. Fox pinned the former Diva’s Champion after A.J. Lee began skipping around the ring to distract her rival Kaitlyn. This feud has to end soon or it should take another turn.
Randy Orton def. Christian
Two of the men competing in the World Heavyweight Championship match battle one-on-one. Randy Orton and Christian competed against each other only days after confronting each other in the ring on Raw. Both men brought their A game but it was Orton that sealed the win with a devastating RKO.
Dolph Ziggler def. Drew McIntyre
One-third of the musically-challenged stable, 3MB takes on Dolph Ziggler for the first time ever. Drew McIntyre is finally getting someone to fight that is not going to make this a squash match that will be shorter than their entrance. McIntyre didn’t lose without a fight as he didn’t back down from the World Title no. 1 contender. But in the end,2 it’s a Zig-Zag that won the match for Ziggler.
Fandango def. Justin Gabriel
After returning this past Monday night on Raw, Fandango is set to redeem himself after walking out of his bout with Sheamus. But instead of receiving another ‘Powerhouse’, he was handed the high-flying Justin Gabriel. Although Gabriel is a fierce competitor, his risky moves were not enough to earn a win over the suave moves of Fandango.
Alberto Del Rio nc. CM Punk
World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio and CM Punk went head-to-head in a main event match after meeting earlier in the evening. Their meeting was not a friendly one however, resulting in a brutal match that quickly went from bad to worse for both men. They took the match outside the ring and used whatever they could to put the other through pain. This match ended in a no contest as they did not follow the rules of a match.
