Dolph Ziggler and Kaitlyn vs A.J. Lee and Big E. Langston Has Staying Power

Ever since Dolph Ziggler turned face at Money In The Bank, it evened up the score with the opportunity of teaming up with Kaitlyn, who is a direct rival right now with AJ Lee, which also leaves an up-and-coming star in Big E. Langston to team up with Lee.

It’s a classic turn for the battle of the exes, and the battle of former best friends. Two things could take this storyline to another level, and one of them would be Ziggler and Kaitlyn getting romantically involved. Given everything Lee has done to her former best friend in Kaitlyn in terms of turning her back on her and constantly costing Kaitlyn matches for the Divas championship, you are left waiting for Kaitlyn to get the upper hand, and there would be no better way than Kaitlyn taking Lee’s ex-boyfriend.

For the Divas, this is actually a good storyline in my opinion because it has a purpose. Too many times in the past there would be Divas wrestling each other for the sake of it. It was almost as if the WWE was saying, “Here are the women people; just one match per show for the most part, and get out of our faces.” Lee and Kaitlyn have gotten personal, so I’m actually looking forward to what they will do next.

For Ziggler and Langston, they have the talent be in the main events, and you could make the case that they should already be there to stay. But if both wrestlers get to be on the back-burner to some degree, this storyline is a good one to use.
