Should Ryback Become A Paul Heyman Guy?

After feuding with John Cena and unsuccessfully getting the WWE Title off of him, Ryback has been in limbo as of late. Is it now time for him to align himself with Paul Heyman?

Heyman’s stable was kind of full earlier this year with him managing CM Punk, Brock Lesnar and Curtis Axel. There was no room for him to take on anybody else at the time.

Things changed prior to SummerSlam when Punk became a babyface and challenged Lesnar to a match. That match was exciting with Lesnar winning, thanks to the help of Heyman on more than one occasion. The feud should have continued there, but Lesnar’s contract only allows him to wrestle three matches per year. Punk has now just been focusing his attention on Heyman and Axel only.

In my opinion, Punk wrestling Axel all of the time feels a bit weak. No disrespect to Axel, but he’s doesn’t have the star quality that someone like Lesnar has. Heyman’s “stable” feels weak with only Axel on his side since Lesnar won’t return until early 2014.

This is the main reason I think Ryback should be a “Paul Heyman” guy. He’s been in limbo as of late and hasn’t been booked as strongly as he was last year and even earlier this year. I do feel that a feud between Ryback and Punk would be more interesting than the latter fighting Axel all of the time.

Hopefully, WWE can get the ball rolling after Punk faces Axel and Heyman at Night of Champions later this month.
