WWE Should Not Set Up Randy Orton vs. John Cena At WrestleMania XXX

Randy Orton WWE Champ

WrestleMania XXX is just next year and could be the biggest event in WWE history. Hopefully, they book a main event that everyone would like to see.

The main event might be the WWE Champion going up against the World Heavyweight Champion in a unification match. The WWE has had two belts ever since 2002 and it has helped the careers of many wrestlers over the years. If they go back to only having one champion, it might limit the number of wrestlers that could become stars.

Not that this makes much of a difference now considering the current champions are Randy Orton and John Cena. It will be very boring and stale if Orton and Cena is in the main event for WrestleMania XXX. These two guys have wrestled each other millions of times from 2007-2009. The majority of their matches were good, but I don’t want to see them wrestling each other ever again.

I would much rather see Orton facing CM Punk. They only faced each other a few times in the past, but another storyline between these two could be interesting. If this were to happen, Punk would have to defeat Cena for the World Heavyweight Championship somehow.

As for Cena, he should be in a main attraction match like against Hulk Hogan or something. Cena doesn’t need another title to stay unpopular/popular with the fans. If this Champion vs. Champion match does happen, where does this leave the Royal Rumble winner?
