Another Disappointing Match Announced For Survivor Series?

Survivor Series used to be a PPV that emphasized huge tag-team matches. This year, it doesn’t seem to be the case.

I already mentioned how the two main event matches are disappointing, but WWE has added yet another match to the already woeful card. The wrestlers in the match aren’t bad, but it seems like a letdown after seeing the exciting conclusion that happened on Monday Night Raw.

The match that was made was CM Punk and Daniel Bryan vs. Luke Harper and Erick Rowan. This is just a standard tag-team match between four wrestlers. Survivor Series used to have epic eight or 10-man elimination matches. How come the Survivor Series this year is just full of standard matches?

What happened at the end of Raw was exciting. You had the Wyatt Family, the Shield, the Usos, Goldust and Cody Rhodes, Punk and Bryan all involved in a huge brawl. Many people predicted we would see an epic 12-man Survivor Series match. This isn’t to be the case right now. It’s possible some other match could be booked for the other guys, but it looks like Bray Wyatt himself is left out from wrestling on the actual card.

Hopefully WWE decides to announce an elimination-style match within the next week or so. We have two stale title matches as the main events and a Raw-quality tag-team match that have been announced so far. I wouldn’t be surprised if the buyrate for Survivor Series 2013 is low because the matches aren’t all that appealing.
