When athletes and celebrities guest host Monday Night Raw, anything can happen. Sometimes it goes great, other times it’s a complete disaster. It really just depends on how the host handles being live on TV in front of millions of fans. For Michael Strahan, that’s just another day at the office.

The former New York Giants‘ DE and current TV host/studio analyst took his talents to Long Island on Monday Night to appear on the famous WWE show. After just a couple of minutes on camera, it was clear that Strahan was a natural in the squared circle. First off, he was great on the mic. Secondly, he held his own in the ring by hip-tossing both the Miz and Titus O’Neil during their segment.

Strahan appeared on camera a couple of other times in backstage bits, and everything he did was a success. Here’s an example:

While it’s nice to see that WWE had success by bringing the former DE on board, I really hope it doesn’t lead to more guest hosts in the future. WWE went all out several years back by having a special guest host every Monday night and a lot of them were complete flops. It’s rare that you can find a guy like Strahan, who doesn’t skip a beat while transitioning to another line of work.

I wouldn’t be a bit surprised if WWE worked with the former gridiron star again in the near future.
