Why John Cena vs. Randy Orton at Royal Rumble Is a Good Thing

A lot of people are annoyed that it’s going to be John Cena vs. Randy Orton again at the Royal Rumble. This could be a good thing in the long run, though.

I am not a fan of rematches and I’m begging the WWE to push some new stars. As much as I don’t like seeing Orton and Cena dominating, this upcoming Royal Rumble match could be a good thing in the long run.

One reason I like this match is because this prevents either men from winning the actual Royal Rumble match. I didn’t like Cena winning the 2013 Royal Rumble since he already won it back in 2008. Not to mention I feel the Royal Rumble winner should be someone that needs the extra push. Cena is the last guy on the WWE roster that needs a push.

Orton is another guy that doesn’t need to win the Royal Rumble match either. He’s won it already too back in 2009, plus he’s had so many pushes in his career as well. With both Cena and Orton occupied in their WWE Title match, we might see a new Royal Rumble winner in 2014.

Another reason this might be a good thing is that WWE is hyping the fact that it’s going to be a normal match with no interference. This tells me that this might be the final time Cena will face Orton. Whoever wins the match will win cleanly so the loser cannot argue for a “rematch” in the future.

Besides, Cena vs. Orton will be over in no time. The real fun happens after that match as Brock Lesnar will face the winner. Something tells me that Orton vs. Lesnar is on the draw cards.
