Sheamus Should Return As A Heel
A former WWE Champion and Royal Rumble winner is set to return to WWE at anytime now. With the pay-per-view just weeks away, it would be a perfect return for “The Celtic Warrior.”
He won the Royal Rumble back in 2012 and went on to win the world heavyweight title against Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania 28.
As like any year, there is a ton of speculation on who will return at the first pay-per-view of the year. Sheamus is ready, and he would be a top superstar who should return. Once he is in the ring, there is a realistic possibility that he could win the match and go on to challenge John Cena or Randy Orton for the WWE world heavyweight title at WrestleMania 30 in April.
The 35-year-old has been with the WWE since 2009. Most of his career he has been a baby-face, AKA a good guy. The last time we saw the “The Great White” he was lost. He did 1800-fella commercials that were corny. Where is the intense Irishman who can take on anyone?
Sheamus was lost and had no real direction in the company. The year before, he was the No. 3 baby-face in the company. Not only because Creative did not give him anything serious to work with, but also the “WWE Universe” did not care about him as much as they did in the past.
He needs to come back and reinvent himself. He has not had a heel run in a while. It is time for a change. This should not be a wasted opportunity whenever he does return.
The Royal Rumble gives him a perfect opportunity to become a great heel.
