Should Hulk Hogan Actually Wrestle At WrestleMania XXX?

Hulk Hogan is 60-years old and his body is not in the best shape. Would it be better for his health to skip WrestleMania XXX altogether?

Ever since Hogan left TNA Wrestling, there have been many rumors of his return to the WWE. In a perfect world, the PPV would have the main event of Hogan vs. John Cena in a singles match. This would be similar to the Rock vs. Hogan at WrestleMania 18. Sadly though, Hogan is not in the best shape and it’s being reported that he will team up with Cena instead. This isn’t such a bad idea, but the many matches that have been proposed are odd and feel out of place.

One such scenario is for Cena and Hogan to team up and face Antonio Cesaro and Jack Swagger. Cesaro and Swagger are a heel team known as the Real Americans, so it would make sense for Cena and Hogan to portray the good side of being “American”, so to speak.

The only problem I have with this match is that the Real Americans aren’t really strong enough characters to challenge Cena and Hogan. WWE have booked them as jobbers for the past year or so. Cena and Hogan should face people who are more main event-worthy.

Another weird scenario that has been proposed is Roddy Piper and another heel teaming up to challenge Cena and Hogan. This makes sense since the first WrestleMania main event was a tag match that involved Hogan and Piper too. Another problem with this match is that Piper is also old. Would fans really want to see Hogan and Piper go at it again?

If WWE cannot book Hogan in a decent match, I think it’s best for them to make him a guest referee or give him host spot at WrestleMania XXX instead.
