TNA, you should start signing indy wrestlers to you roster. Let’s face it, what made your business grow were all the top indie, AKA independent wrestlers, putting on awesome matches and the older well-known wrestlers mixed in with them.
Then all of a sudden there was a change of events and now all the older guys are in most of the top storylines. With Magnus being world champion, they are slowly turning it around and they have finally understood. Let’s stop with something that has not worked for six years and go back to what works.
Being on Spike TV was built on AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Kurt Angle and others. Not Bully Ray, Ken Anderson and Sting. Yes, I understand those guys were very important to the company, but they did not make the company grow as rapidly as it did. They were not even in the company in 2002.
As of this writing, Ring of Honors’ own Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards (known as the “American Wolves”) are the top talents on the Indy scene. Long story short, they had a tryout with WWE, but that did not work out. Right now, TNA looks to be bringing them in and I hope they do full-time. Also being brought in is the “Young Bucks.” They are better known as “Generation Me” Max and Jeremy.
TNA’s tag team division is in desperate need of new tag team stars. Their tag team champions are the Bro-Man’s. Can you really say they are tag team champions? Do they deserve to be champions? NO. Are they entertaining and should be on the show. YES. Any other questions?
