The WWE Universe is only one day away from Sunday's 2014 Royal Rumble, marking the unofficial start to Wrestlemania season. After the annual battle royal we will have more insight as to what the WWE is planning to bless its fans with at the biggest show of the year.

There always seems to be thousands of rumors floating around that predict possible matches and storylines for Wrestlemania XXX, but no one can ever be too sure about what the WWE's actual plans. The most common rumor is the return of Hulk Hogan which has been confirmed to some extent, but the company is doing their best to keep us all guessing.

Hogan may indeed be involved but mostly likely not in a physical form. He may only be used to induct the Ultimate Warrior into the Hall-of-Fame which airs the nights prior to Wrestlemania XXX in the New Orleans Superdome. Either way, fans should be more than happy to see Hogan used in any capacity being that he has been absent since the days of the NWO's run in WWE.

Along with the Hulkamania rumors, there has been talk of multiple different angles for the main event and the matches leading up to the final bout of the show. Most of the rumors circulating revolve around speculation of whom The Undertaker will be defending "The Streak" against, John Cena's opponent and who will get their shot at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. While no one can be sure of what will actually happen, I figured I would use this time to write about which five matches that I believe would produce the best Wrestlemania 30 possible.

5. John Cena & Hulk Hogan vs. Daniel Bryan & Rowdy Piper

Hulk Hogan's involvement in WM30 has not been confirmed, but there are rumors out there that place him in a tag match with John Cena. Another rumor has Hogan facing off against Rowdy Roddy Piper, who took to Twitter to confirm the speculation, saying that he is ready to be prepared for a match against Hogan if need be. This tag match would make sense, and it gives Daniel Bryan the place in a huge match he deserves for being overlooked so many times in the past.

4. Dean Ambrose vs. Roman Reigns (United States Championship)

Roman Reigns' huge push may ultimately result in the end of The Shield. If that does happen then it would make sense for the group's two best superstars to clash at the big show, finally determining who the better man is.

3. CM Punk vs. Triple H

We have seen this one before, but it would be a lot more special this time around given Triple H's current position and the fact that he hasn't wrestled in quite some time. The Authority and CM Punk have had their differences of late, so this would make perfect sense and would surely be a battle for the ages.

2. The Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar (The Streak)

Streak

Sources say that The Undertaker may not be in good enough shape to go head-to-head with such a physical opponent like Brock Lesnar, but "The Streak" matches have always been hard fought battles. Either way, I believe we will see plenty of hard bumps, so the WWE might as well go ahead and book this matchup between The Phenom and The Beast.

1. Randy Orton vs. Batista (WWE World Heavyweight Championship)

Batista has made it clear to Randy Orton that his return is fueled by his taste for WWE gold. With Orton in his cross-hairs, Batista could go on to win the Royal Rumble and get just what he came for at Wrestlemania 30.
